Thessaloniki: Mother and son hid drugs inside a teddy bear

Police officers of the Narcotics Group of Veria Security Department arrested a 40-year woman and her 19-year-old son in an area of western Thessaloniki for handling a significant quantity of drugs.

In particular, in an organised police operation on Friday afternoon, the aforementioned were located in an area of ​​Thessaloniki, where a search was carried out at their home.

During the investigation, with the assistance of the police dog named “Booker”, the narcotics were found carefully hidden and confiscated:

• cocaine weighing 361 grams,
• heroin weighing 78.8 grams,
• raw hemp weighing 6.4 grams, and
• a sum of 1,085 euros.

In fact, some drugs were hidden inside a teddy bear.

The arrested, with the criminal case against them, will be taken to the Prosecutor of the Court of First Instance of Thessaloniki.
