KKE: Banning events, compulsory mask are the government's contribution to science

The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) commented on the new measures against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic that the government announced on Thursday.

"Protection from the pandemic and the upcoming Omicron variant is for the government restricted to banning festive events, wearing double masks on public transport and a single mask in indoor and outdoor areas," the KKE statement said.

"It is another 'contribution' of New Democracy's government to scientific thought, epidemiological monitoring and the assumption of protection measures in super-spreader locations at a time when dozens of people lose their life every day," it added.
