Former Greek Orthodox Metropolitan, Bishop Ambrosios of Kalavryta has accused the Church and Clergy of potentially becoming a ‘tool of the devil’ according to media reports.

According to Romfea magazine, ‘the Greek bishop believes that the hierarchs of the Greek Synod promoting the need for vaccination have become representatives of Mitsotakis rather than Christ.’

Bishop Ambrosios, in an address to the Synod of the Greek Orthodox Church, asks whether the bishops’ “persistent support for the imposition of the vaccine on the faithful is turning them into a tool of the devil?”

“You have abandoned efforts to vaccinate the faithful with the Vaccine called the Body and Blood of Christ, and with unprecedented persistence are engaged in promoting the Mitsotakis Vaccine!” the bishop said.

“You have abandoned concern for the soul and become concerned about the body! You have driven the faithful out of the house of the Lord! The temples are empty! You have preserved yourselves, and harmed the Mother Church!” Metropolitan Ambrosios wrote.
