Australian Open Pay Day for Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis or Matt Ebden and Max Purcell

The Aussie Open doubles final is set to be one of the greatest shows we have ever seen.

Nick Kyrgios is in line for his biggest-ever Australian Open payday – topping his entire 2021 earnings – in a men’s doubles final that has attracted interest like none before it.

Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis have turned the tennis world on its head to the point where Saturday night’s doubles showdown with Max Purcell and Matt Ebden – marking the first all-Australian men’s grand slam doubles final in 42 years – has turned into one of the most anticipated games this year.

The winners of the 2022 Australian Open men’s doubles final, which will see Kyrgios and Kokkinakis face fellow Aussies Matt Ebden and Max Purcell, will split $675,000 - that’s $337,500 each.
