Naxos is an island that can easily seduce you with its Cycladic charm, and it is exactly for this reason that there are efforts to attract more tourists to the Aegean paradise.
The airport on the idyllic Aegean island of Naxos will be upgraded so that it can receive direct flight from abroad.
This move aims to boost tourism to the island.
It comes after Deputy Development and Investments Minister Ioannis Tsakiris’ signed a decision for the project, which has a budget of 23.07 million euros.
The signing is part of the Operational Programme “Transport Infrastructure, Environment and Greek Growth 2014-2020”, with the Airports Infrastructure Directorate as beneficiary.
