The pilot of the flight from Santorini to Athens took to informing his passengers in a ’greek-style’ fashion, of the flight delay which went viral a few days ago.

In particular, there was a long delay in take-off due to a problem with the air conditioning of the aircraft.

When the plane finally took off, the pilot did everything he could to cover some of the lost ground and approaching the “Eleftherios Venizelos” airport, he made the following announcement to the passengers:

“We cut something, to reach Athens in 1:42. That is, in about, a little less than two hours. We covered around 40 minutes.

We had stepped on it, we had torn it, what else to do? It happens. We’re not magicians, we’re pilots. We have to fix it because you don’t play with these things.”
