MAJOR PROVOCATION: Turkish spy plane detected 50 miles outside Athens

A Turkish aircraft allegedly conducting a patrol mission in the Aegean Sea was reportedly detected within less than 50 miles from Athens!

The Turkish Navy ATR P-72MPA aircraft (Ad no. TCB-754 – call sign MARTI94) is considered to be involved in an espionage mission given it specializes, among other things, in detecting submarines.

Turkey’s attempt to locate the positions of Greek submarines has become unashamedly obvious and in violation of Greek national security.

According to its manufacturer, the ATR 72MP has capabilities that allow maritime traffic monitoring, exclusive economic zone (EEZ) patrolling, as well as Search and Rescue (SAR) operations. The aircraft can also be used to transport personnel and materiel and can perform anti-submarine warfare (ASW) and electronic warfare missions.
