Greece: 106 Songs Submitted For Eurovision 2023

106 songs were submitted to ERT as part of the Greek selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.

ERT has revealed that 106 songs were submitted for the Greek Eurovision selection. Fotis Sergoulopoulos revealed on ERT1’s midday show, “Proian se eidon”, that the committee of ERT is extremely satisfied with this year’s interest from the candidates. The number of submissions is double what was received in 2021.

Among the artists that have submitted songs according to OGAE Greece are:

Antigoni Buxton
Melissa Mantzoukis
Aretha
Vasilis Kurtis
Antonia Kaouri
Jimmy Sion
Harris Rivera

An internal committee at ERT will now select the Greek representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool. ERT has used internal selections to determine their representative at the contest since 2018.

Amanda Georgiadi Tenfjord finished 8th for Greece in the Grand Final of Eurovision 2022, scoring 225 points. Greece received 12 points from the Albanian televote and juries in Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland.
