Deputy Foreign Minister Andreas Katsantonis will visit Armenia from 28 to 30 October to take part in the ‘Global Armenian Summit’ taking place in Υerevan.
In the context of his visit, Katsaniotis will meet with his Armenian counterpart, High Representative of Armenia for Diaspora issues, Zareh Sinanyan, with the participation of Commissioner of Cyprus for humanitarian issues and Diaspora, Fotis Fotiou.
The visit is part of Greece, Cyprus and Armenia’s trilateral cooperation following the signing of a memorandum of understanding last June in Greece, which aims to further strengthen trilateral cooperation in Diaspora issues.
During his stay in Armenia, Katsaniotis will have a series of meetings with representatives of the Greek community, the foreign ministry said.
