Turkish media reports that Greece has gained superiority in the air, and for this reason, Turkey is currently in talks to receive up to 48 Eurofighters from the United Kingdom.
Commenting on the news of the alleged Ankara-London agreement on armaments, a journalist on the TGRT network goes as far as to claim that Greece is "sticking out its tongue" against Turkey because it has significantly upgraded its air force.
"Turkey urgently needs fighter jets. Greece, from the point of view of upgrades and the number, has surpassed us. And for this reason, they stick out their tongues and have these provocative approaches towards us," the journalist commented.
He also explained that the reasons for appealing to the United Kingdom to purchase new aircraft are due to the difficulties of supplying F-16s from the US.
"And we in the defence industry are doing well. But Turkey needs 5-10 years to integrate these helicopters and planes that it manufactures, there are aircraft and tanks that it needs to buy and modernise".
According to the Turkish media, in addition to the Eurofighter supply, Turkey is also discussing with the United Kingdom the purchase of frigates and C-130s.

It baffles the very core of my being as to how over hundreds of thousands even millions of years of the development of the human faculties that are suppose to define what it is to be of this earth and the miracle of having within us the ability to learn, grow, evolve, create and like all things become better yet still…. Because of our inequities and the lack of not only world eaders but right down to the damn average person living in society, a normal civilian if not completely inept in recognising the bigger picture to what it is to be given the gift to experience life. This one thing that everyone on this planet right now has ever known is only experiencing this substancial life and know we have somewhat an existence that we are involved in directly and indirectly. It doesn’t matter if I’m half way across the world, if something happens to me directly caused from another person it will somehow effect you in your same experience of life indirectly as much as anyone wants to think otherwise this is an undeniable amd immutable fact sorry I should say cosmic law. So when I see places in the world for instance and this is just a very small increment of the unmeasurable root of the sickness that thrives and flourish upon this divine earth, Kashmir in India and the neighboring country of Pakistan, innocent Hindus that are dirt poor and struggle yet alone will ever be able to experience what a decent life would be gets terrorized by Pakistanian enemy’s, and I’m not saying Hindus are righteous and Pakistan people are terrorist by any means no, but.. when innocent and poor people are being shot up and killed and bombs placed that are killing children and the Hindu people are terrified with no way to defend themselves nor the government acknowledge their cries for some kind of help while countries can turn around and spend Billions of dollars upon highley advanced technology created specifically for taking the lives of other human beings is by far the most disgraceful thing that can be defined that is of this planet. How is even possible that there are starving people anywhere with no homes, no food, no education, no nothing to give life or freedom some form of meaning yet trillions upon trillions upon trillions of dollars is exchanged without hesitation from the ones that look up to like God’s for reasons that you and I never had a choice in, because I’m very very confident that I can say with conviction that my plans and goals in life definitely were to never create things that kill human beings to a point of genocide if I wanted because of what ever reason, because if I had those plans and goals in life I would be devoting my time, energy and focus on being apart of the ones who choose to call the orders or physically doing the killing. So why and who gives anyone the right and power to choose to spend trillions of dollars that you and I slave everyday to make and pay taxes too, say it’s okay to spend the money on things that create carnage and destruction instead of maybe having compassion and a heart and doing what right so that way innocent and poor people don’t have to keep losing the only thing that gives them any meaning to their lives which is their children and loved ones. We can blame world powers a day long because the persecution and karma that they have created for themselves will be heinous but I definitely don’t want to be in the shoes of the ones who stood back and watched and seen every single day decades and decades and decades and not once felt the right thing to do is try and create positives in a life we all experience full of so much negatives. We have the divine ability to create and the second divine ability to be aware that what we create today will make tomorrow a better day yet almost all of mankind sit back and watch and feel they are not responsive in some way to give back to this gift of life that we all experience and that we are all involved in. This is by far the sickest of all, in fact sicker then the ones who create the tools that destroy and the ones who give the orders to allow the killing and destruction. So in conclusion there is no excuse as to not knowing any better or really any childish and poor and pathetic excuse as to why we haven’t as a species in this planet haven’t stood up to and honoring what it is to be righteous and doing what we know is right in our heart and punishing with accordance and compassion to those who do not uphold the moral laws that should and would give this gift of life that we all experience some form of meaning. There is no excuse any more, now it’s just laziness and now a species that has become a parasite to this gift of life we all experience. Shame on this article and those who stand behind it.
