Sophia Hadjipanteli: “I believe that everything I’m living now, I’m living because I dreamed it as a child”

Sophia Hadjipanteli

After the end of Greece’s Next Top Model (GNTM), Sophia Hadjipanteli returned abroad to continue her work. Last night she was in Cyprus, where she comes from, and spoke on the show “Hello”.

The model initially said: “I believe that everything I’m living now, I’m living because I dreamed about it as a child. I believe little Sophia knew all this was going to happen. If you believe it enough, it will happen!”

“It is a dream for me, because I never thought when I came to Cyprus as a child that I would end up in shop windows with a magazine cover. I’m doing all this for my dad, my grandma, my grandparents and my mum.”

Later Sophia Hadjipanteli emphasised: “My dad always found it more difficult to understand what I do in my life. He always said to me, ‘Sophia, what are these things you do?’ and I answered him ‘I do fashion!’

“The beauty cover symbolises to me that you can have something ugly about you to most people and still be on the cover of a magazine and be gorgeous. It was very important for me to be able to appear on TV, I was able to connect with so many Greeks and Cypriots. I’m not just an image.”
