A 22-year-old woman was reportedly raped by her 26-year-old cousin in a well-known nightclub in Thessaloniki.
According to the complaint made at the White Tower police station, the 22-year-old woman and her cousin went to the toilet together while in a well-known nightclub on Saturday night. She says that when her cousin lifted her skirt and had forcibly had intercourse with her.
As she said, she had consumed a large amount of alcohol and does not remember the events of that night exactly.
According to her, when she woke up in the apartment where she lives, she had severe pain in her genitals and anus and realised that she had been raped by her cousin.
An expert-psychologist was appointed to examine the complainant, a document was granted for a forensic examination, the clothes she wore on Saturday night are being investigated for possible traces of DNA and she was taken to the Papageorgiou hospital for urine and blood sampling.
At the same time, the police are looking for video from the club area, inside and outside it, to see exactly what happened.
The 26-year-old alleged perpetrator of the rape, despite the police investigations, has not been located and has not been arrested, Proto Thema reported.
