SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras said in Pyrgos on Friday evening that the time of change has arrived,
"On May 21, we will turn our backs to injustice - enough is enough!" the main opposition said, referring to the date of national elections.
In a strong attack against Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Tsipras accused him of treating the state as his private property.
The government is "dismantling every social protection facility, selling off strategic sectors while distributing billions it does not own to its own children, party officials and state-supported elite," the opposition leader said.
"Enough with the dark state of phonetapping, based at Maximos Mansion and with the prime minister as instigator. Enough with the cartels that enjoy superprofits and practise profiteering through the government's sponsorship," Tsipras continued.
"We know this is not our country. They are not Greece," he added.
The main opposition leader underlined that "a Greece of inequality, corruption, profiteering, and injustice is not the Greece we deserve."
Tsipras also referred to the deadly train collision at Tempi in central Greece on February 28 and asserted that the accident "revealed the incompetence and ineffectiveness of the so-called executive state, but also the irresponsibility of the head executive," who, he said, blamed "all of us Greeks except for himself."
Meanwhile, SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras will visit the southern suburb of Nea Smyrni at 11:00 am on Saturday.
Tsipras will be at the city's main square (2as Maiou & Trias) to meet and chat with residents.
