Another area, which aspires to become a popular entertainment destination of the city, will join the industrial area of Piraeus 260 from June 30 - Playground 260, which was created in collaboration with the Athens and Epidaurus Festival and the "Hellenic World" Cultural Centre.
Dj sets and concerts with Dark electronica, alternative, rock, intense rhythms and a youthful mood will make the nights in Piraeus even more interesting, expanding the Festival's activities to offbeat streets and offering new experiences to its audience.
On Friday, June 30, Saber Rider, Metaman and Jay Jay, who will be on the decks consecutively, will set up a Popup Party that will last until dawn.
Saber Rider is a producer, performer and DJ, based in Athens, focusing on plunderphonics and free improvisation. He is a resident DJ/Radio Producer at Movement and FADE.
At the same time, he has an impressive list of activities, which includes piano for ballet, production and composition for various media (cinema, dance, advertising, etc.) and music editing for TV to mixing, sound design, lessons, improvisation and keyboards in bands.
Metaman has two electronic records to his credit from WonTon records, of which he is a co-founder. As a DJ he covers the whole spectrum of non-boring electronic music.
Jay Jay, known as Iasonos Oikonomou, has been providing unique musical selections in selected venues in Athens and beyond for the last few years.
His DJ sets are characterized by freedom of improvisation and unique taste, while he moves comfortably in various musical genres, from house and tech to funk and melodic beats.
With freestyle music and small doses from Detroit, Jay Jay is one of the most suitable for a powerful DJ set with uplifting rhythms!
With free entry for the public, the doors will open at 23:00 and the djs will play a set, while then in the SESSION they will share the decks and play back to back, turning the stage (the van in this case) into a playground.
