Halkidiki: “She fed herself and not her child,” responds the beach bar to the mother’s complaint

Halkidiki

The managers of the beach bar in Halkidiki gave their version after a mother complained that she was not allowed to feed her child with food she brought from home.

“We allow everything for the children,” the manager of the beach bar where the incident happened claimed on Radio Thessaloniki.

“The lady brought food with her, which was pasticcio. We allow all foods for the children and even store them in the refrigerator so they don’t spoil. The lady took out the food and fed herself and her husband instead of her child.

“It was the waiter’s duty to inform the lady that she was on an organised beach and that we do not allow food for customers. For the children, we allow everything.”

What the mother said

According to the complaint, which became known yesterday, the beach bar prohibited parents from feeding their child food outside the store.

The child’s mother complains that, while they had paid for the sunbeds and ordered from the store’s menu, they then took food from their lunchbox to feed their child.

According to the mother, Proto Thema reported, employees of the beach bar approached her and told her that this was not allowed, indicating to the parents to go to their car and feed the child there.
