Atlanta United may not have wanted to with their performance, but Giorgos Giakoumakis was there again to find the back of the net and give extra impetus to get the point at home to Dallas (2-2).
The Greek striker returned to scoring goals after August 21st, with a perfect header at the second post, thus bringing the match to level just before the end of the first half (1-1).
Saba Lobzhanidze pulled off the turnaround in the second half, but the hosts were held to two points by Atlanta, who just climbed to 42nd and 6th in the East.
As for Giakoumakis reached 13 goals in 21 appearances and is firmly on the top-scorer trajectory (2nd, behind Hany Mukhtar, who has 14).
