A serious traffic accident occurred on Sunday morning at the 521st kilometre of the Athens-Thessaloniki National Road at the exit to Evzonoi in Central Macedonia. Authorities rescued three unconscious people, while reports say dozens were injured.
The traffic accident involved a double-decker tourist bus that collided with two vehicles. The bus had 78 passengers, one car, four and the other 4.
The bus and one car fell into a ditch without water.

The police and the fire department are already at the scene, with 18 firefighters and six vehicles.
The ambulance service announced 40 injured adults, one intubated, and two children aged 6 and 9. The wounded suffered various injuries, while doctors from the mobile units assisted at the scene.
The injured were taken to Kilkis Hospital, while the injured person who had to be intubated was taken to Hippocrates.
Twelve ambulances and 3 Mobile Medical Units participated in the operation.
