A 42-year-old woman met a tragic end at the hands of her husband in Kalamaria, Thessaloniki.
The man was a 38-year-old police officer who appears to have shot the woman with a gun before killing himself.
Their bodies were found in an apartment at 27 Komninon Street at approximately 8:15. There was a previous call for shots fired at 1:00.
According to Voria, the woman had already died when the ambulance arrived at the scene, while a little later, despite the efforts of the doctor and the rescuers, the 38-year-old also breathed his last.
The outlet states that the man allegedly shot his wife, with whom they had two children.
A team from the Crimes Against Life Department of the Thessaloniki Division has been sent to clarify what happened.
