The Athens Coffee Festival 2023 is this weekend!

Athens Coffee Festival 2023

For three full days, from 23 to 25 September, the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens will host the Athens Coffee Festival 2023.

The event will be attended by professionals from the coffee industry, such as baristas and coffee business owners. At the same time, visitors will have the opportunity to meet top coffee brands and taste fine coffee varieties from Greece and abroad and original coffee cocktails.

At the same time, during the three-day festival, there will be events, competitions, and seminars on the world of coffee, while during the weekend, visitors will enjoy music from DJs, radio producers, and singers who will take to the Technopolis stage.

More specifically, the programme of the Athens Coffee Festival 2023 is as follows:

Events and competitions

Every day, guests can:

  • taste coffee varieties from espresso blends, single-origin coffees, coffees in capsules or pods, Greek coffees, green coffee varieties, and organic coffees
  • win prizes from the exhibiting companies through live on-stage happenings

In addition, the event will host the Panhellenic Championships Coffee in Good Spirits, Roasting, Latte Art, organised by SCA Greece.

Furthermore, 45 Greek and foreign coffee experts as well as professionals and market executives will be there to inform and give advice on everything related to coffee: from the stages of brewing, and basic equipment to questions on how a café can enter the digital age and how a barista can become a roaster.

Finally, the event will host the volunteer organisation Humanity Greece, which will present a series of actions aimed at informing and raising awareness of its work.

Musical events

Saturday 23 September

On the stage of Technopolis at 17:30 and 19:30, the DJ and radio producer of EnLefko 87.7 Spyros Pagiatakis and Elias Bogdanos with his band INCO.

Sunday 24 September

DJ and radio producers of EnLefko 87.7 Sakis Tsitomenea and Evridiki give their own live show at 17:30 and 19:30 respectively.

At the same time, throughout the festival, the radio producer and DJ of Hit 88.9, Katerina Psimopoulou, will play music.
