Maria Callas: Her historic debut at the Paris Opera is presented on the big screen

The legendary debut of Maria Callas, the historic performance she gave on December 19, 1958, at the Paris Opera, is presented for the first time in 4K colour restoration and Dolby Atmos, exclusively for the big screen.

The Greek public will have the opportunity to watch it on December 2 and 3 in selected cinemas.

This important international project is signed by the creative team of the multi-awarded film "Maria by Callas" and is directed and produced by the great French director Tom Volf, who has become the most important collector and expert of the work of Maria Callas worldwide, and co-produced and restored by Samuel Francois-Steininger and distributed worldwide by Piece of Magic Entertainment.

With Calla's mythical arias from Norma, Trovatore, The Barber of Seville and the entire Second Act from Tosca.

The film had an impressive premiere on Saturday at the Rome Film Festival in the presence of its creators, garnering excellent reviews and captivating audiences in the eternal city.

The presence of Maria Callas' close friend Nadia Stancioff and Cecilia Giorgio, daughter of Tito Gobbi, co-star of Maria Callas - as the legendary Scarpia - in Tosca on that magical evening, is highly symbolic, and they made statements clearly moved by watching the historical projection.

Today, the great film is travelling to more than 40 countries to be shown in more than 1,000 cinemas worldwide, including France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Poland, Germany, Australia, South Zealand and Japan.
