On Wednesday evening, Trikala entered the final stretch for the Christmas holidays as Greece's highest natural Christmas tree was lit up.

The Municipality of Trikkaia and e-Trikala SA created the most beautiful celebration for Trikala residents and visitors on the central bridge and in front of the main square. The city's mayor, Nikos Sakkas, wished everyone happy holidays, stressing the joy of the holidays.

With the countdown right after, in the presence of a crowd of citizens and many small children, the 33-metre tree (sequoia) was illuminated. At the same time, the impressive fireworks turned day into night, spreading joy to everyone.
