Vogue's list of the best destinations in the world includes the beloved Greek island.
According to the international media, the Cycladic island which is a magnet for travellers is Sifnos
In addition, it urges its millions of readers to visit the island, which maintains its authenticity, stands out for its timeless gastronomy and is ideal for slow travel and relaxing unpretentious holidays.
Next on the list are Grenada in the Caribbean, Quito in Ecuador, Big Sur in California, Tangier in Morocco, Jeju Island in South Korea, Bodrum, Madagascar, Serbia, Paris and Galicia in Spain.
"Last season ended with a record for tourist arrivals over the course of a decade. Taking advantage of the destination's dynamics, our goal for the coming years is to preserve and highlight all those characteristics that make Sifnos unique in the hearts of our friends from all over the world, said the new Deputy Mayor for Tourism of the Municipality of Sifnos, Yiannis Rafeletos.
"Our trails, culture, nature worship, culture and culinary wealth are part of the travel experience that we want to preserve. The priority will also be to encourage the realisation of actions and events of a touristic, cultural and sporting nature on the island," he added.
