The plain of Pelagonia and its regions remain in total frost for the third consecutive day.

Very high-resolution satellite data from the European Sentinel-2 satellite passed over Greece on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. METEO/E.A.Analysis processed in three-dimensional format (3D) the extensive snow cover in  Florina and, more specifically, in the plain of Pelagonia.

The plain of Pelagonia and its regions remain in conditions of total frost for the third consecutive day, as the temperature did not exceed 0°C.

The terrain morphology, the atmospheric conditions and the snow-covered ground of the previous days helped the temperature to drop close to -20°C (-19.8°C at METEO/EAA automatic weather station in the Nea Kafkakos).
