Starbucks is set to introduce its Oleato drinks, which are infused with extra virgin olive oil, across all its stores in the U.S. and Canada. The decision comes after the successful launch of Oleato in Starbucks Italy locations in February 2023, followed by a limited release in select California stores.

The highlight of the Oleato lineup is the Oleato Golden Foam, a sweet cream that is infused with Partanna extra virgin olive oil. Customers can now add the luxurious foam to any cold drink of their choice. Additionally, Starbucks is introducing two new drinks featuring the Oleato Golden Foam.

The first new drink is the Oleato Golden Foam Shaken Iced Espresso with Toffeenut. It combines Starbucks' blonde espresso, toffeenut flavoring, oat milk, and the velvety Oleato Golden Foam. The second new option is the Oleato Caffè Latte with Oatmilk, made with the same bold blonde espresso, oat milk, and a subtle hint of olive oil. Both drinks can be enjoyed either hot or iced.

Starbucks customers will also have the option to customize their beverages by adding the Oleato Golden Foam to existing favorites such as an iced chai latte, iced matcha latte, Dragon Drink refresher, or Paradise Drink refresher.

The inspiration for Oleato originated from Starbucks founder Howard Schultz's visit to Sicily, where he discovered the Mediterranean tradition of consuming olive oil daily. Schultz was captivated by the idea of blending olive oil with coffee for a smooth and velvety texture, leading to the creation of Oleato.

In addition to the U.S. and Canada, Oleato is available in select Starbucks stores across global locations like London, Paris, Osaka, and Tokyo. Coffee enthusiasts and olive oil lovers alike can now indulge in this unique fusion at their nearest Starbucks outlet.
