Greek Government Denies S-300 Missile Delivery to Ukraine

Denying media speculation, Greek authorities confirmed their stance against sending S-300 missiles to Ukraine. Spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis stressed the sensitivity of such reports and their potential implications.

“There must be a limit to fake news, especially when it has to do with the interests of the country and its international image. There is no such thing, and I categorically deny it. There was not even the intention for Greece to risk the country’s defence armour,” Marinakis stressed in a statement media reported early afternoon Monday.
