Father Nicholas Bozikis, a beloved figure in Sydney, has passed away at the age of 79. Born in 1944 on the Greek island of Zakynthos, he dedicated over 50 years of his life to serving as a priest within the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia in Sydney.
For over five decades, Father Nicholas dedicated himself wholeheartedly to his calling as a priest within the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia in Sydney. His journey of service began in earnest, unfolding over various parishes where he imparted his wisdom, compassion, and unwavering devotion to his faith. From 1989 to 1994, he graced the parishioners of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Kingsford with his pastoral care, fostering a sense of belonging and spiritual nourishment within the community. Following his tenure at St. Spyridon, Father Nicholas continued his ministry at St. Stephanos in Hurlstone Park until 2011. In 2018 at Agios Nikolaos Orthodox Church, Marrickviile, was the announcement of charismatic Father Nikolaos Bozikis' retirement where his presence was a source of solace and inspiration to all who sought his guidance.
