Athens, February 19, 2024 - Greek citizens residing abroad can now register to vote by mail in the upcoming European elections, taking place on June 9, 2024.
The registration platform opened on February 15th, and interested individuals can apply electronically through the website of the Ministry of Interior: https://www.gov.gr/en/upourgeia/upourgeio-esoterikon/esoterikon]
How to Register:
- Visit the website epistoliki.ypes.gov.gr/login
- Fill out the online application
- Enter your ID card or passport details
- Choose the polling station where you want to vote
- Submit your application
Application Deadline:
The deadline for submitting applications for postal voting is April 29, 2024.
Who is eligible to vote by mail?
- Greek citizens permanently residing abroad
- Greek citizens temporarily residing abroad for studies or work for more than four (4) months
- Seafarers
- Imprisoned citizens

Important:
Greek citizens residing abroad can register for postal voting in the June 2024 European elections until the deadline of April 29th. Voting materials will be sent in May and must be returned by June 8th.
