Greek Defence Minister Nikos Dendias met with Ukrainian counterpart

Greek Defence Minister Nikos Dendias met with his Ukrainian counterpart, Rustem Umerov, as part of the defence contact group meeting in Ukraine.  

"We talked about Greece's defence support for safeguarding Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity." Dendias noted on his personal X account.

Additionally, Dendias informed in a new post that he had a "cordial discussion" with his French counterpart, Sébastien Lecornu.

The meeting, organized at the initiative of US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin in Ramstein, Germany, was also attended by the Chief of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (GEETHA), General Dimitrios Choupis.
