GNTO's Efforts to Boost Tourism from the Arab World to Greece in Full Swing

The Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) is actively working to boost tourism from the Arab world to Greece by participating in the Arabian Travel Market trade show. GNTO Secretary-General Dimitris Fragakis emphasized the organization's focus on Arab countries as a key part of its market expansion strategy.

Building strong partnerships with airline companies in the region is crucial, and GNTO has been fostering relationships with Gulf Cooperation Council airlines in recent years. Fragakis discussed the market's current performance and future opportunities with airline representatives at the trade show, including those from Qatar, Air Arabia, Fly Dubai, and Saudi airlines. Additionally, discussions with We Go resulted in a joint program to promote Greece in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
