Migrants Transferred to Crete After Being Found by Coast Guard

Fire Brigade recovers bodies of three girls after migrants boat crashes on rocky shore

Forty migrants were transferred to the area of Kali Limenes in the Municipality of Phaistos, on Wednesday afternoon.

They were found by a Coast Guard vessel 34 nautical miles south of Crete. The 40 men said they were Egyptians. An operation was underway to transfer them to Heraklion.
