Marinella's Condition Stable After Stroke, Showing Signs of Improvement

Marinella 85th birthday

Beloved Greek singer Marinella remains in critical but stable condition after suffering a stroke during a performance at the Odeon. While she continues to receive treatment, there are encouraging signs: she is responsive to medication and fully conscious.

After a critical first 72 hours, Marinella's response to treatment has been positive. While the situation remains serious, she has not required intubation and is interacting normally with her surroundings.

Dr. Matina Pagoni, commenting on Marinella's condition, stressed the importance of preventing further hemorrhaging, adding, "Things are stable. She has not been intubated, she is conscious and aware of her surroundings."

Throughout this ordeal, Marinella has been surrounded by the love and support of family, friends, colleagues, and countless fans sending their well wishes.

During a ceremony where he was awarded the city's silver medal, singer Dionysis Savvopoulos dedicated his thoughts to Marinella, saying, "I cannot help but think of our beloved Marinella from Thessaloniki, who is fighting for her life in these hours. I express the wish of all of us: Get well soon, Marinella."

In a moving tribute, singers Eleftheria Arvanitaki and Eleonora Zouganeli dedicated a song by Antonis Vardis and Haroula Alexiou to Marinella during their own performance at Lycabettus Theatre.

Further tests are scheduled for tomorrow to assess Marinella's progress.
