Greek Citizen Identified Among Victims of Terrorist Attack in Jaffa, Tel Aviv

The Greek Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Wednesday denouncing the terrorist attack that took place in the Jaffa district of Tel Aviv on Tuesday.

In their condemnation, the ministry expressed its unequivocal opposition to the act of violence, saying, "We unequivocally condemn yesterday's terrorist attack in Tel Aviv's Jaffa district."

The ministry also revealed the heartbreaking news that a Greek citizen who lived in Jerusalem was among those killed in the attack. "We announce with deep sadness that among the victims of the attack is a Greek citizen, a resident of Jerusalem," the statement noted.

In light of this tragic event, the ministry conveyed its sincere condolences to the family and relatives of the victim, offering support and solidarity during this difficult time.

UPDATE:

The Greek Foreign Ministry has confirmed that 26-year-old Ionas Karousis was the Greek victim of the terrorist attack that occurred yesterday in the Jaffa area of Tel Aviv.

Ionas Karousis, the son of Dimitris Karousis, a well-known professor of neurology, had been out shopping when he was tragically killed during the attack.
