A shooting occurred at 2:50 AM on Syggrou Avenue, near Amphitheatre Avenue, when unknown assailants shot the occupants of a motorcycle. The motorcycle riders fell to the ground but quickly got up and fled on a high-powered motorcycle.
They were shot at by an individual wearing a hat who was driving a black SUV and then immediately fled the scene. Blood was found on the road, and police arrived to collect shell casings. At the time of the shooting, screams were heard, presumably from the individuals who were shot.
A strong police presence remains at the scene, and due to the amount of blood, it is almost certain that the person or persons who were shot require immediate medical attention.
