Evacuation of Greek Citizens from Lebanon Coordinated by Greek and Cypriot Authorities

Eleven Greek nationals and their families were safely evacuated from Lebanon, arriving in Larnaca on a special chartered flight organized by the Republic of Cyprus. This evacuation was facilitated by the Greek and Cypriot embassies in Beirut, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Twitter on Saturday.

"The Embassy in Nicosia, along with the Crisis Management Unit of our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, coordinated the repatriation of six individuals to Greece today," stated the ministry.

The Greek foreign ministry expressed gratitude towards the Republic of Cyprus, acknowledging their support and prompt response.
