A search and rescue operation remains in progress for a young skier who went missing at the Seli Ski Resort in Imathia, northern Greece, on Monday afternoon.
Despite ongoing efforts, the skier's whereabouts are still unknown.
As of Tuesday, 27 firefighters, rescuers, and volunteers have been involved in the operation, with support from a scent dog, thermal imaging cameras, and drones. Authorities confirmed that a helicopter will join the mission to assist in the search.

The young man had visited the resort with friends on Monday. At one point, he ventured off alone to explore the slopes. When the resort closed for the day and his friends could not locate him, they alerted authorities. A search operation was launched immediately but, despite efforts throughout the night, there have been no results so far.
The local community and authorities remain hopeful for a positive outcome as the search continues.
