Since its crushing defeat in the 2023 legislative elections, SYRIZA-PS has experienced a series of dramatic events that have led to its perceived “Pasokofication,” according to recent polls. As a result, PASOK-KINAL has moved into second place in the polls, reaching as high as 20%.

However, its support peaked at 18.8% in November and fell slightly to 17.9% in December. Meanwhile, SYRIZA-PS’s decline seems to have stabilized following the election of Socratis Famellos as the new leader.
On the other hand, ND has struggled to regain the level of support it had before the 2024 European Elections but has remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 28% and 30%.
While PASOK-KINAL does not currently pose a significant threat to ND, observing how these trends evolve in 2025 will be interesting. Polls show that seven parties (excluding KKE) are competing to support centre-left and left-wing voters, while two right-wing to far-right parties are gaining ground and pushing ND forward.
