Perhaps it’s their poised paradox—black-tipped feathers blazing against vibrant pink, a dance of delicacy and defiance, their necks bowing in arcs of timeless grace. In contemporary fashion, flamingos reign as emblems of elegance, extravagance, and untamed beauty, and Kritharioti, Greece’s oldest couture house since 1906, has woven their essence into a breathtaking sartorial narrative.
The runway pulsed with star power as Irina Shayk, Alessandra Ambrosio, Stella Maxwell, and Coco Rocha brought the collection to life. Anchored in a flamingo-inspired pink, black, and white triad, Kritharioti’s SS25 vision is a symphony of contrasts—playful yet profound, bold yet refined. Mini dresses dazzled with oversized bows, floor-sweeping gowns flowed with ribbons, and trompe l’oeil flourishes, each piece a canvas of handmade embroidery that elevates fabric into art.
