Greek Influencer Arrested in Rhodes for Possession of Pink Cocaine

A 28-year-old social media influencer faces charges of drug trafficking after being arrested in Rhodes on September 15, 2025, with authorities discovering pink cocaine in her possession. The case came to light following a car rental dispute that led police to uncover drugs and related items in a vehicle she was using.

The investigation began when a car rental company filed a complaint for vehicle embezzlement. The influencer’s mother had rented the car, listing her daughter as the driver. When the rental fees went unpaid, the company tracked the vehicle via GPS, locating it on a Rhodes street. On Thursday morning, police from the DIAS unit arrived, and a search of the car revealed incriminating evidence.

An employee of the rental company told Star: “On August 29, we filed a complaint against the woman who rented the car for embezzlement. The vehicle had a GPS tracker, and on Thursday, it showed the car was parked on a specific street in Rhodes. When the police arrived, I provided the spare key, and their search uncovered the drugs.”

Mother’s Statement and Influencer’s Defense

The influencer’s mother was the first to provide a statement to the authorities. “The car was rented in my name, but my daughter was listed as the driver and had exclusive use of it. I had no knowledge of the drugs found in the vehicle,” she said.

The influencer’s lawyer, Stelios Alexandris, defended his client, stating, “The drugs were clearly for personal use only. She is a hardworking individual who, unfortunately, developed an addiction five years ago. This arrest serves as a wake-up call for her to make every effort to overcome her addiction.” The influencer further claimed she left the cocaine in the car to avoid bringing it home, where her family might discover it.

Police Findings

Authorities found the following items in the vehicle:

  • Two plastic packages containing 9.27 grams of pink cocaine
  • Four electronic scales
  • €100 in cash
  • The influencer’s driver’s license

Ongoing Investigation

The influencer is set to appear before a prosecutor today at noon. The case has sparked significant attention in Greece, given her public profile and the unusual nature of the pink cocaine, a synthetic drug gaining notoriety. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the full extent of the influencer’s involvement.

This incident highlights the growing concern over drug use in Greece, particularly among younger demographics, and serves as a reminder of the challenges in addressing addiction within the public eye.
