Adelaide’s Greek community is in mourning following the peaceful passing of cherished DJ Stelio Mitsos on Saturday, September 13.
Known for his work as a DJ, promoter, and owner of Glamour Entertainment, Mitsos was a beloved figure. His wife, Priscilla, shared her grief in a heartfelt Facebook post, describing him as a “highly respected and loved figure” whose talent brought joy to many.
“While his passing has left me completely heartbroken, I am grateful for the cherished memories we created,” Priscilla wrote. “I am deeply proud of all he achieved. His absence has left an unfillable void in my life, and I miss him so much.”
The Parish of Saint George Thebarton also honored Mitsos, noting his warmth, faith, and generosity. “Through his music, he created moments of joy, unity, and kefi that lifted our hearts and brought our community together. His gift for connecting people went far beyond the dance floor, and his memories will continue to inspire and comfort us.”
