The marriage of Evina Giakoumatou and Elpidoforos Papanikolopoulos was celebrated on Friday evening (October 10, 2025) at the Holy Church of Saints Constantine, Helen, and Irene within the Politia Tennis Club in Kifisia. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis served as the best man at the ceremony.
The bride, Evina Giakoumatou, is the daughter of former New Democracy minister Gerasimos Giakoumatos and a party official. Her groom, Elpidoforos Papanikolopoulos, is a former associate of Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the Maximos Mansion.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the same venue, as the owner of the Politia Tennis Club is a close friend of the newlyweds.
Evina Giakoumatou is a regional councilor in the Northern Sector of Athens, serving under Regional Governor Nikos Hardalias.
