A crocodile was spotted swimming in the pool of the Sheraton Mirage Hotel in Queensland, Australia, on Saturday, October 18, in a bizarre incident that has gone viral. Guest Lisa Keller captured the moment on TikTok, calmly noting the reptile’s presence in the five-star hotel’s pool. Remarkably, guests continued sunbathing nearby, unfazed by the crocodile just meters away.
Another TikTok user shared the footage with the viral “sit back and relax” sound, humorously comparing the crocodile to an unwelcome tourist. This is the second crocodile sighting in the area this year, following a large saltwater crocodile spotted at a golf course 3 km away. Queensland’s wildlife rangers, alerted via the QWildlife app, responded and placed warning signs around the hotel.
