ReBrain Greece Initiative to Connect Diaspora Professionals with Greek Companies in New York

NEW YORK — The ReBrain Greece initiative is set to launch in New York on December 7, 2025, aiming to bridge top Greek companies with skilled professionals from the Greek diaspora.

Organized by Greece’s Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the event will showcase 35 leading companies across critical sectors: technology, shipping, energy, finance, and healthcare. The initiative seeks to create new job opportunities in Greece and encourage the repatriation of highly qualified Greeks living abroad.

In preparation, Minister of Labor Niki Kerameus met with company representatives in Athens, calling ReBrain Greece “a shared national priority.” She highlighted Greece’s significant progress in lowering unemployment and the urgent need to bring specialized talent back home.

Kerameus also issued a direct invitation via Instagram to the Greek communities in the U.S. and Canada:

“Living in the U.S. or Canada? Maybe it’s time to take the next step. Greece is waiting for you with exciting professional opportunities in every sector. On December 7, Rebrain Greece comes to New York!”
