PERTH, Australia – The official draw for the 2026 United Cup has placed Greece back in Perth for the third time in the tournament’s four-year history, and this time in what is already being called the toughest group of the competition.
World No.11 Stefanos Tsitsipas and World No.17 Maria Sakkari will lead Greece in Group E at RAC Arena, where they will face:

- Great Britain – Jack Draper & Emma Raducanu
- Japan – Naomi Osaka & partner
The Perth-based Group E is the clear standout on paper, pitting three Grand Slam champions (Tsitsipas, Sakkari, Raducanu, Osaka) against each other in the opening week of the 2026 season.
Perth Groups – United Cup 2026
Group A: USA, Spain, Argentina
Group C: Italy, France, Switzerland
Group E: Great Britain, Greece, Japan
The remaining three groups will be played in Sydney at Ken Rosewall Arena.
Greece has developed a strong affinity with Perth, having played there in both the inaugural 2023 edition and again in 2025. The Greek duo famously reached the quarter-finals in 2023 before falling to eventual runners-up Italy.
The 2026 United Cup runs from 27 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 (group stage), with the final eight taking place in Sydney from 6–11 January.
