The 34th Athens International Sailing Week 2025 has shattered previous participation records, welcoming 580 boats and 629 sailors representing 14 countries. The event, organised by the Hellenic Sailing Federation, is underway across the Saronic Gulf, with support from the yacht clubs of Varkiza, Voula, Vouliagmeni, and Kalamaki.

This year’s international field includes athletes from the USA, Canada, India, Hong Kong, Lithuania, Poland, Israel, Romania, Cyprus, Switzerland, Germany, Ukraine, Turkey, and Greece, reaffirming the regatta’s status as one of the Mediterranean’s most important sailing events.

Olympic Class Action

Tuesday’s races highlighted two Olympic categories: ILCA 6 Women and ILCA 7 Men. The regatta’s second phase is being streamed live on the Hellenic Sailing Federation’s YouTube channel, providing real-time access to sailing fans worldwide.

Event Timeline

The second phase concludes on Thursday, November 20, and is followed by the third and final phase from November 21 to 23. The regatta will wrap up with a closing ceremony in Voula at 7 p.m. on November 23.
