Yannis Maderfakis Becomes the First AI Folk Singer in Greece to Release a Song

Yannis Maderfakis has become the first AI-generated folk singer in Greece, releasing his debut track “Tha Me Theleis Piso.” While real creators wrote and produced the song, the performance is entirely delivered by artificial intelligence. Another AI singer, Achilleas Delfos, is also set to debut his first single in early December.

Yannis Maderfakis has made history as the first Greek folk singer created entirely through artificial intelligence, with his debut single “Tha Me Theleis Piso” (“You’ll Want Me Back”) now officially released.

While the lyrics, composition, and production of the track were crafted by real creators, the performance is delivered entirely by the AI-generated artist.
Maderfakis has been designed as a 35-year-old folk performer, blending traditional laiko style with modern pop elements in both his sound and visual identity.

The introduction of Maderfakis has already sparked competition in the digital music space. Another AI artist, Achilleas Delfos, is preparing to release his debut single, “Vasanisomai,” in early December.
