The inaugural upgraded ceremony took place on February 24, 2025, at the historic Old Parliament Hall in Athens, attended by Interior Minister Thodoris Livanios and General Secretary of Citizenship Dimitris Karnavos.
Throughout the year:
- 29 upgraded ceremonies were held
- 21 in Attica (at iconic locations like the Old Parliament, National and Kapodistrian University amphitheater, Piraeus Municipal Gallery, and Parnassos Literary Society)
- 4 in Thessaloniki (at Aristotle University)
- 3 in Rhodes
- 1 in Alexandroupolis
Approximately 2,100 individuals were sworn in during these events.
