At least nine people were injured, three of them seriously, after a car drove into a crowd in the Dutch town of Nunspeet, about 70 kilometres east of Amsterdam, on Tuesday.
Dutch police said there are currently no indications that the incident was linked to terrorism. In a post on the social media platform X, authorities stated that it “does not appear to be a deliberate attack.”

Rob Jetten, who is set to become the youngest prime minister in the history of the Netherlands, expressed his sympathy for those affected. “My thoughts are with the victims and their families,” he said.
The 38-year-old leader also praised emergency responders, voicing his “limitless gratitude and great respect for the emergency services who are doing everything they can to provide the best possible care.”
