Victoria Kafka Jones, the 34-year-old daughter of Oscar-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones, was found dead early on January 1, 2026, at the luxurious Fairmont San Francisco hotel.

Emergency services responded to a medical call around 2:52 a.m., with police arriving shortly after 3:14 a.m. Bystanders were reportedly given CPR instructions over the phone, but paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
The San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office is investigating the cause of death, which remains undetermined. Authorities have indicated no suspicion of foul play.
Victoria, born in 1991 to Tommy Lee Jones and his ex-wife Kimberlea Cloughley (they also share son Austin Leonard Jones), briefly pursued acting as a child. She appeared alongside her father in Men in Black II (2002) and his directorial effort The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005), as well as in an episode of the TV series One Tree Hill (2003).
In recent years, she had stepped away from the spotlight but was occasionally seen supporting her father at events.
This sudden loss comes as a profound tragedy for the 79-year-old actor, known for iconic roles in films like The Fugitive, No Country for Old Men, and the Men in Black series.
