Kolonos Toy Shop Hit by Overnight Break-In

Unknown perpetrators carried out a rififi-style burglary in the early hours of the morning at a toy store located at 256 Lenorman Street, in the Kolonos district of Athens, stealing €500 in cash.

According to police, the suspects accessed the area through the pilotis of a nearby apartment building on Antigonis Street, moved into an uncovered courtyard, and climbed to the first floor of the building housing the toy store. The perpetrators then drilled a hole through the wall, entered the premises, and took the cash found in the register.

The suspects fled the scene using the same route. No injuries were reported.

Police have launched an investigation and are continuing efforts to identify and locate the perpetrators.
