Taxi Driver Stabbed in Athens Suburb as Thieves Steal Vehicle

A taxi driver in Egaleo suffered stab wounds early Sunday morning when two unidentified assailants attacked him and stole his car.

The incident occurred at 2:15 a.m. on Papanastasiou Street. The attackers used a sharp object to wound the driver in the cheek and abdomen before taking the car keys and fleeing with the vehicle.

The injured driver sought treatment at Tzaneio Hospital, where medical staff provided first aid. Authorities continue to investigate the incident and search for the suspects.
